SecureRF is a proud member of AIM, a global association focused on the standards in barcode, RFID, RAIN, RTLS, NFC and mobile computing and its impact in the IoT. Today, AIM released the “2015 | Year in Review – Innovation & Technology Leaders” report which featured an article about the work of the RFID Experts Group chaired by SecureRF CEO, Louis Parks.
As the demands on technology expanded over the past year, the RFID Experts Group saw a growth in the need for standardization. While continuing to fully serve AIM and all issues surrounding RFID issues, this year’s projects focused on healthcare, warehousing and innovation. See highlights from the report.

- Published Guidance on Data Content & Structure in Passive RFID Tags
- Released Medical Electrical Equipment & System Electromagnetic Immunity Test for Exposure to Radio Frequency Identification Readers, published by the REG Healthcare Initiative workgroup for consideration as an AIM standard
- Appointed new workgroup to address the education need related to application process to obtain barcode numbering
