Engineering Intern (post grad). Now through Summer 2017 – remotely and Shelton, CT

Summary: The company is looking for an Engineering intern to complete a dedicated short-term project that involves programming the Intel x86 with AVX 2 instructions. We are looking for an experienced C and x86 Assembly language programmer to implement the company’s digital signature algorithm on a PC platform with the goal of obtaining the fastest run-time possible. SecureRF will provide a notebook computer and development tools. Visits to our Shelton, CT office are required, but most of the work can be done remotely. The work would start immediately and continue into the summer of 2017.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Convert our existing C reference digital signature implementation to an Intel x86 implementation that takes advantage of the x86’s AVX 2 instructions in order to obtain the fastest speed.
• Programming may be done in a GNU GCC environment on Linux or in a Visual Studio environment on Windows — your preference.

Requirements: (Education, training, skills etc.)

• Bachelor of Science or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering or Math from a four-year college or university.
• Experience programming the x86 in C is mandatory. Experience programming the x86 in Assembly language is highly desirable.
• Exposure to cryptographic algorithms helpful.
• Strong math background helpful.
• You must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to apply for U.S. Secret Clearance.

Senior Sales/Account Manager – San Jose, CA

Summary: Our solutions are at the intersection of two expanding markets – Security and the IoT – so we are looking for an experienced technical sales person/account manager to join our office in Silicon Valley to capture key deals and manage our current semiconductor and technology partners in California.

The selected candidate will have day to day responsibility to identify and capture sales opportunities for the company’s security products and solutions. The candidate will be responsible for pipeline development and management. They will be strategic and solution-oriented throughout all phases of the sales cycle. The candidate should have outstanding integrity and a proven track record in technical sales or solution selling to bring new solutions to market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Developing product sales plans.
• Identifying and contacting potential customers.
• Qualifying leads.
• Managing pipeline.
• Closing business with major accounts.
• Supporting marketing events.
• Guiding marketing and product management for industry needs and direction.
• Market segmentation and new product introduction strategies.
• Assisting with the collection and analysis of competitive information (and applying it to the product development strategy).
• Maintain CRM database and provide written reports and summaries of sales activities and tasks.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• Travel to prospect and client offices as well as marketing events will be required.

• An engineering, IT or security background is preferred.
• Experience closing large enterprise technology sales.
• Strong networking and business development skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must conduct business with the highest ethical standards.
• An established contact network.
• Ability to manage sales cycle from prospect stage to closing phase.
• Understanding of how to generate accurate and reliable revenue forecasts.
• Boardroom presentation skills and comfort level with C-level executives.
• Self-starter and ability to work and travel independently.
• 5+ years of experience in sales of technology products or solutions to enterprise organizations.
• Industry experience is preferred- semiconductor, embedded systems, and/or computer hardware areas.
• Knowledge of security solutions is a bonus.
• Proficient in office productivity software tools and have experience with a Customer Relationship Management system such as Salesforce.
• BS/BA; MBA helpful.
• The account geography is primarily Silicon Valley. The ideal qualified candidate will live in or near Silicon Valley or San Francisco.
• You must be authorized to work in the United States.

Digital Logic Design Engineer – Shelton, CT

Summary: We are seeking a skilled Digital Logic Design Engineer to implement the company’s cryptographic methods on FPGAs and ASICs and their associated hard processor systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Review requirements, develop architecture and design details for FPGA implementations.
• Implement RTL in Verilog, validate and synthesize the design, apply timing closure.
• Optimize designs to reduce run-time, energy consumption, and logic resources.
• Build and maintain a library of the company’s cryptographic primitives for use on customer FPGAs, SoCs, and ASICS.
• Provide IP integration support to SecureRF customers.
• Perform IP core releases and quality assurance activities.
• Participate in product definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs.

Requirements: (Education, training, skills etc.)

• Bachelor of Science or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline from a four-year college or university. Masters degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of digital design flow from architecture, RTL design, verification, and synthesis.
• Demonstrated programming proficiency using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience with back-end flow including synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis.
• Experience designing and verifying complex state machines.
• Experience with AXI, AHB, and APB bus architecture and protocols.
• Knowledge of FPGA tools such as Quartus, Vivado, Modelsim, Signal tap, and Chipscope.
• Experience with FPGA evaluation boards from Intel/Altera, Microsemi, Lattice, etc.
• Embedded C development highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cryptographic security methods such as key agreement protocols, digital signature algorithms, hash functions, and encryption helpful.
• Strong math background helpful.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• You must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to apply for U.S. Secret Clearance.

Embedded Developer – Shelton, CT

Summary: We are looking for a skilled C programmer to implement the company’s cryptographic methods on a wide range of low resource microcontrollers, FPGAs, and SoC devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop software in C and assembly language for various microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex, RISC-V, Microchip/Atmel AVR, TI MSP430, etc.
• Optimize cryptographic routines to reduce run-time or ROM/RAM footprint.
• Assist in specifying, developing, and maintaining code libraries and software development kits for use by customers.
• Perform software releases and software quality assurance activities.
• Participate in product definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs.

Requirements: (Education, training, skills etc.)
• Bachelor of Science or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering or Math from a four-year college or university, or equivalent education/experience.
• Relevant experience and/or training in a high level language. C is mandatory. Assembly, C++, Python and/or Java is helpful.
• Experience designing or implementing communications protocols desirable.
• Experience working with IDEs, debuggers, emulators, development boards, and code libraries.
• Background in implementing cryptographic security methods, toolkits or protocols is desirable (i.e. PKI, digital signatures, hash functions, encryption, etc.).
• Strong math background helpful.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
