Proprietary Security Protocol Technology Provides Secure Communication—Protecting Privacy and Business Processes 

SecureRF has developed an interface between RFID readers and the business network called the Secure Reader Host.  This interface enables secure communication with RFID tags using the SecureRF’s Algebraic Eraser™ security protocol.

A network set up with the Secure Reader Host provides:

• A secure link over an open channel
• Strict compliance with EPC Transport protocol
• Strong PKI for anti-counterfeiting and privacy protection
• Certificates to protect the business management process

The Secure Reader Host will operate with currently installed EPCglobal Class 1, Gen 2 readers without the need for firmware upgrades.
